    changing email

in Forum, I went to settings (top right), clicked. I, then, scrolled down left side of page to edit password/email, clicked. I input my present password (that I am logged in with) and added a new password, and entered a new email because hotmail shutdown my listed email months after I started playing Settlers. I clicked save changes and it tells me that my password does NOT match my present one? I am logged in with it how can it not be the correct password? Please help. I sent an email to tech support a year ago and they sent a reply to my old hotmail account (I guess) which I cannot enter. I cannot change my password via my email if someone does not help me change the old email. I am level 37 which took over a year to achieve and do not want to lose it - please help.

since their hack debacle, i would rather change my email than my password. however, i saw on the ubi forum that other people are having trouble like you did changing their email.
they messed the whole account / login system up when they modified it to make everyone change their password.
