[The first half of this post isn't just filled with sarcasm, but pretty much 100%. Then again, true story....if you get butthurt easily, such as "I don't wanna be friends with you" and can't get over it, skip to the 2nd part, otherwise you'll be a sad and angry panda. I made an obvious cut so you can reconize it without trouble...I hope]

Ohhhh, x3 Gem sale would totally turn the tide because that's what the germans are doing. They spent 10k gems to insta water so they can win the contest to get 600 gems!

Same reason why everyone does Secluded Experiment instead of Black Knights, the math just adds up!

Also setting up a script to check the values of balloons in storage/star should be somethign fairly easy. No wait, they got employees logging into every game acount and adding (would I need to suggest a calculator so that there is no human error besides a type or will that be acceptable to assume that being the case already?)
    the numbers manually.
If, however, you totally do believe that, try saying that again, I might just support your idea then.

Where is your patriotism now that all you americans are always so super proud of now? When it actually matters jack happens, unless someone else is doing it and you revel in their glory for no apparant reason. United we stand? Wait what? I'd love to call you (sore) losers, but quitters is the word that fits the situation best.

They can convert balloons into coins! Yes, that will boost their percentages because converting balloons into coins instead of donating them is advancing the rankins. That screenshot is from the test server and not live on german servers. All sarcasm aside, this is reason enough to quit the event to star menu balloons and convert them after/if it goes live from the test server. Assuming it will happen and that rate of course.

Then again, everyone should've just been on their own like in the first round and make it "fair". Did you _really_ expect with both Zeus and Ares togehter even being a match for Germany 1? Even remotely? Not only are Zeus and Ares even near at their player limits, they aren't nearly as advanced considering the time they have been live. There is also a difference between "fair" and "just". Same goes to "balancing" and "compromise".

On a side note, please everyone, keep crying. All those tears are contributing to my amusement and it's not even clogging up your precious Provision House! On. The. Side. Amazing I say!

    Oh yea, math no easy.

Now that I've made enough fun of you all, some other input you might be missing out due to ignorance (offended? Good, enjoy)
Of course the event is rigged and unbalanced, though that shouldn't be come at a surprise, just having looked at the statistics on day 1 were obvious enough. So there isn't really a point in argueing in the first place.

    - Germany is complaining about the event being rigged as well. Starting at 100% the values get another factor, someone estimating needing 4x more ballons to reach another percentage than pre 100% and would get, probably, factored again starting 150%-200%

    - Many of them already quit due to being lied to by BB as well, as mentioned by the % values above and suddenly slowing down in their progression, as they should've hit 200% already at their pace. However, BB mentions that people may be out of resources now and needing to get them again to start converting again. Next in line being players having had 100% as their "primary" goal and then stopped because goal reached. And last but not least... the nice weather! Yes, the nice weather. The guy having done the estimates can tell you when you will have nice weather (hint, reaching 100%). As virtually nobody of you knows crap about the world....germany was just or may still (not updated on that anymore) be having a long winter...or so people have been complaining about as it was june already, which, even in germany, isn't usually cold by definition. Also they've got highwater going on, and while most might be kids/students/sorta grown ups, they should have better priorities still.
They are demoralized as well, but for other reasons than this surface crying that is happening here mostly.

    - "x3 gem sale? Are you kidding us? Why don't you just ask for our money without giving any gems?" or so it goes.
Obviously gem sales are to boost their revenue, just like all these free apps and their scams, like Candy Crush and pretty much everything else. Contrary, you get something in return, gems, which can boost you, on the other hand they are not required to "win" the game. Time is a luxery and conveniece, therefore money. Now with gems....are you _seriously_ believeing people buying gems to drop them in an event with virtually 0 rewards? Really? I'll fairly assume that even germans arem't as stupid as to do that but get gem pits, coppermines, vets, you name it instead. If you aren't even smart enough for that, sorry, should've just donated your money and not even get gems in return.
On a side note, did Poland get a x3 gem sale as well? Suspicious how they are actual keeping up with germany then! Omigosh.
So yea, if you think germans are spending real money on gems, to win the contest to get no profit, you need some valuable education.

From reading their forums and sites like cempire, many have quit the event as well, though of course not all. "Boycott" the event is what's being said and hoping to see happening. So by all means, quit and boycott it, there really is no point in doing this event. Do it for the _obvious_ reasons and not that surface crying that is happening here left and right.

Still be neat to at least reach 100% and get some gems so all our current effort isn't extremely, totally, completely, amazingly 100% wasted effort though.

Oh, and who actually cared about the event in the first place aside from free goodies via voucher goods?

There is an issue with the ranking graphic. It does not otherwise affect the event but the devs are definitely aware and working on a fix.

I agree with this guy. :-)

We have too many cry babies on our servers. They like to cry about something and hope they'll get candy. Cuz that's what cry babies do.

x3 gem is nice to have. But it's not going to significantly boost our balloons donations. The items that would boost anything might be the rabbit on provision but are you really going to buy gems and use it to boost your provision house so you can donate faster? Because you're playing to win 600 gems? Why waste that much gems to get nothing back? The only thing that could slightly help you is buying watermills and upgrading those and 2x buffing it. But if you're buying x3 gems, you should be buying gem pits and unlimited copper mines like the poster below mentioned.

This event is never going to be fair. I think the only thing that really upsets people is the fact that they promote it as being fair. And doing 'prizes for whoever donates the most. That's probably the biggest mistake for BB.

Now if we go back to the bottomline. And ignore the prizes for the fastest. At the end of the day it's just getting 200%. So long as we get there. Whoevers how fast the other servers are going and how fair it is? They have to achieve 200%. You have to as well if you want the prizes. Just ignore the fastest competition and pretend its a 'completion event' and not a 'competition event'.

If you can wrap your head around the completion part, and donate, then we can move on.

BB: Lesson for you. STOP doing server wide events that compete for speed. Do events that are objective based and give equal prizes for completing them. You will get more angry customers when you try to do fastest/fair crap. It's never going to be fair no matter how you do it for fastest.

    It could of been fair!!!

If BB had done what they said they were going to do, it could of been a fair or close to fair event. We are not crybabies, we are simply customers who want what the vendor promised. I personally appreciate complaints from customers, it lets me know what im doing right and what im doing wrong. My bosses remind us weekly that if we tell a customer we are going to do something than we better do it. Thats all most of the people are saying.

At this point, we want to get to 200%. It doesn't matter what they did wrong. We know its possible to get to 200% based on our phase 1 performance.

No point in complaining right now. They might not fix anything.

Accept the fact that we won't get to #1. And now we can resume what needs to be done based on that.

Boy are you right. That is the complaint. Tell the customer what is going on. A customer can stand bad news if you tell him the truth. I still want to know "100% of what?" Balloons right? But how was the number of balloons calculated?
If something can go wrong, it will.
