Ive noticed something about 75% of the people crying for PvP are either not 50 or have an Island that couldn't support PvP. So if they ever launch this are you all gonna come whine here about the fact you cant win?
Or do you simple want a completly independ island that is not affected by your level or ability to play the actual game

I'm curious how you judge an island's capacity for PvP -- when nobody actually knows what PvP would entail. And PvP is so many years into the future that everybody will have ample time to prepare.

Ok lets look at this logically, Your Home Island will have to support your PvP somehow or they may as well Start a completly different game Call it settlers PvP. If they are not linked with each other is some way what’s the point of being here waiting for this? If they are linked one would assume that you need to produce some sort of resource to send, Existing buildings for weapons or some new building resource that needs to be supplied with existing resources. If you cant be bothered to build up your Island now you never will. If you cant be bothered to level to 50 till PvP is released you will be so far behind you wont catch up. PvPers will never be happy, they never are in any game I’ve ever played in over 30 years. Heck if you did a race to 50 and got ready right after the last offical post, and were still waiting I would feel some sympathy. Point is you didn’t and you wont.
Why did you ever join a game that has no PvP its that simple. Plenty of browser games have it. You join a game for what it has not what you think they may do. This games only PvP is event buffs to mess with the production. If you seriously think PvP will come then get off the forums and build your Islands, level, Stockpile resources. Actualy play the content that’s released its an economy based game. Build yours up.

Let me retry your point from a different angle.
PvP would be huge, a new island, different defences, new units, it really is the big update.
What the dev's could do (and have, just look at the science system) Is update with PvP in small sections.
They could make the separate PvP island, let players slowly generate their new buildings.
Then Launch a month or two later Island Defences.
Then Finally they could launch full on PvP.
You could add many more steps that could include fine points, and there is a testing server, if a step fails, then its stopped there.
Now, i am not denying that PvP may never happen. The Evidence of such is extremely large compared for the hopes for PvP.
But i am being proactive, there is nothing wrong with making ideas, so i make ideas. Now i do try to stay as accurate to currant events, but i will also think outside the box. I hope you will too.
And please, knock it off with the High and mighty attitude. I don't care if you are higher level than me. On the Forums we are on even ground. Be nice and then we can get along together, and share some good ideas.
Perhaps PvP should be available to all lvls? Only you can't attack anyone lower than your lvl.

I think level 16 is where you attack your first camp on your home island, so I suggest that on lvl 17 you learn how to PvP.
Its not high and mighty, Over all the game as it is needs updates. PvP testing and work takes away from the rest. With Anon the dev teams focus is likely split. The only reason I mentioned my level is in this and other forums the number one thing that is said about PvP is we need more content. My point is, there is more content and some of you have chosen not to play it. Its not as if my forum sig said something like " Give me PvP or I'm gonna blow my Cannon" oh wait you don't have cannons yet do you?
