Dev's Diary: Science System, Part 2

Further skill trees (for generals and home island) will be implemented in the future. More information about this will be published later.

    Reminder:
You can use the naming function (from part 1) in order to identify your Explorers easier.

    Happy settling!

    First!

I hope they lower the cost of manuscripts and quicken the time to produce them. would be a shame to not get to my explorers till next year much less the generals and home island...

But, Thanks for some more news! You do great work BB_ Effiluna

I do have to agree with Director, if we have skill trees for both explorer and geologist the times for Manuscripts/Tomes/Codex should be shortened at the very least, or a 2nd bookbinder be allowed for players.

Otherwise you end up choosing between skilling your explorers or your geologist, as you realistically cant do both at the same time, you would have to wait to finish 1 to go to the other.

They are not going to make it faster or easier to get books. The plan is to streach this out to last as long as possible. They won't have to come up with more new stuff until it runs its course.
If something can go wrong, it will.

I wish I could say that any of this is of interest to me. But, it takes too long to accomplish anything to be engaging. Frankly, that is what this game is missing. Something that is engaging.

From another level 50 thinking of leaving the game.

Its probably part of the reason they are waiting so long in between each implementation. So we all have some time to upgrade our geos, next our explorers, then after enough time our gens ect ect. Because honestly, you dont think they have pretty much all of the science system already figured out? I would think if they really wanted to they could put the last three parts of the system on the live servers tomorrow if they REALLY wanted to. But they are keeping us in wait and building anticipation for each phase.
