Let's do some estimates here. If you consider paying a subscription fee to a mmo game site. The average cost is $10 - 15 for a monthly subscription.

If you consider that the gem prices are at $10. = 1000 (no discount). It should cost about 250gems?

Is $10 a month worth it for this game though. I don't think so. Maybe $5 a month for this game is reasonable. Then I'd say 500 gems.

It should cost then ~125 gems for premium for 7 days. I think that is fair. This way those earning the 100 gems can't exactly get it every week.

250 gems is a bit too much for premium if you ask me. ~125 - ~ 150 would be a decent price.

"Premium Account Buffs" eh? So now you have to find a "Premium Buff Partner" for 50% duration bonus? Because i dont see these being tradeable.....

supposedly these buffs are tradeable. so somebody could buy it for gems and sell it for whatever resources he wants.

I'm curious how are they going to do it... "special" shop category for "premium" account... doesn't sound right for me if these were just plain old gem purchases, you already paid gems for "premium" account, now as a reward you can pay more gems for "special" buffs?

But then, what currency would it be, maybe a new "premium" currency?

They need to make money some how. For all those who would quit just because they cost to much, there are people who paid hundreds of dollars in MMOs for gear that last until the next update. It balances the game between the people who have a lot of time to play and the people who don't.

Glad to see the focus on getting casual players to level 50 so they have nothing else to do also.
as a level 50 player, I welcome the opportunity to have more idiots share the misery

Hmm, so if my buff partner has premium, I get rewarded, but if I don't, he gets screwed. Yeah, that will not lead to problems.
