    Instructions for Guild Interface.

It would be helpful to have some sort of instructions or detailed info on how the new interface works.

How long does a person have to be logged out for the "Active" to show "NO".
How long does a leader have to be inactive before the next person on the list takes over?

There are 2 ways to transfer leadership? What are the 2 ways?

I agree. If they are going to potentially remove people from their Guild Leader position without their consent, we should at least be informed as to exactly when this will happen.

I think that the two ways to transfer are manually doing it via the interface and having it automatically transfer to a successor. But that's just my guess.

I have a feeling that this is going to cause some problems for the support staff. I feel sorry for those guys and gals. At the very least, there needs to be an opt in/out for this feature.

From what I understand (which is little) you must have a guild house to become guild leader. No guild house, can't be promoted to leader.

Hmmm. Then I wonder what happens if I go inactive and none of the people on the list have a Guild House?? This whole thing seems very poorly thought out. But like you say..."So what is new?"

there already is a glitch with the new interface....while changing succession order, due to the same lag as experienced while making promotions, i accidently made someone else guild leader....now cant change it back.....lmao

Loki-666 just have that person decline the offer when it hits their mailbox -- or just have them move you into "1" and then have them hit the "step down" button.

I have post under general discussion that walks through the steps for how to use the Guild Leader feature, and also for what to do if you are the guild leader (with powers) but someone else is showing up as guild leader.

    http://forum.thesettlersonline.net/threads/18834-HOW-TO-CHANGE-GUILD-LEADER-and-SUCCESSION-RANKING

It's my understanding that if the current guild leader of record was inactive for X (and I don't know the value of X) amount of time, the leadership rolls to the person in "1". For example if Wallstreet had not signed on in X number of weeks it would auto roll to the next in line as designated originally by entrance into the guild -- i.e, one way to change leaders. However, a current guild leader simply has to just put people into the slots, then hit the "step down" button and it will roll to the next in line (see my post above) and it is very easy although the interface jumps. (see my thread), i.e. the 2nd way to change leaders.

TC has already walked through it, and worked out the glitches.

It's a bit glitchy, but it is so nice to finally have it!! s
