So the wording of these skills says there is a chance to find something when searching. It seems that this is the way it worked in the past according to forum searches and that later it was changed to only work when the deposit is found. If the skills are supposed to only work when the deposit is found, shouldn't the wording be changed to indicate when the deposit is found? For instance:
Gives a 10% chance of finding treasure when searching for a Stone deposit.
Would then correctly read:
Gives a 10% chance of finding treasure when a Stone deposit is found.
As it is, I have already wasted some tomes and manuscripts, so I think it would be great if the wording was fixed so other new players know in advance in order to make informed decisions before investing in these skills. For now, I'll have to wait months to build up some gems to reset or work without my geologist being skilled the way I want him to be.
