Bookbinder is becoming a fail exercise

So this Book Blunder... I mean Book Binder is becoming unnecessarily expensive to maintain.

Is the science system a tease??? Cause I'm not enjoying the ONE of 6 explorers I finished. Now twice the time table to make the next, and then double that for the next.


The science system tree should apply to all of your geos. Not individually. Or take away the formula that increases the mats after x amount of builds

You should have to fill in the tree ONCE. I'll give up specialization so that ALL of my genos are useful, not just the one. And then the same for the explorers and generals later on. That would be a appropriate unlike the exponential formula you have running now.

The cost increases do seem to be on the excessive side. After only finishing 1 Geo to the top and 3 others to the "Marble" levels, I had to build a 3rd Simple Papermill. And before you ask, yes my others are level 5 already. 590 Paper and 470(?) Nibs plus 24 Gold Coins !! EACH!! And dont even get me started on the Tome upgrades. Multiple Manuscripts for 1 Tome is ridiculous.

Also, these Buffs are a waste of time unless you're willing to start it late at night, do a Codex, then wake up early and check in at the computer every 6 Hours to start another Manuscript going. We NEED a queue for it, BADLY!!

The Science System is just like the other updates: Great idea in theory, just poorly executed in reality.

Though in all honesty, I am thoroughly enjoying the new Adventures. I wish we'd received 20 new Adventures instead of 5, but I'll take what i can get.

The diminishing returns on the materials makes it very hard to max everything out. You have to choose carefully how you want to allocate your research.

It is as it should be.

But you're right about the queue -- not having one is ridiculous -- especially with the buffs going unused unless your timing is perfect.

and there is a new Nords as well coming out with those 3 mini's- is pretty cool all white and offers new frozen manor etc... I won't be doing guide for it as well. Loucaux has a nice guide for it already, the final i'm not sure who will publish.

yep ive made a guide for nords 2 through test server, might need some improvents though

im fine with the costs increasing for books, just end with that icky grab and pick and let us queue books

Personally, with what else is coming out for the Science system, I do not know if the bookbinder is becoming a bad fail. I do know I am only using my books on the geos. I have 4. The explorers, I'm not going even attempt to tackle, or the generals or until I have completed Home Island. The only reason behind that is because I have so many freaken generals & explorers I would want to do. But the explorers I'm holding off because the science system for them weren't very appealing.

But I completely agree there should be a que available to bookbinder pronto. I haven't used my glues yet because of this reason alone and I'm hoping BB gets off their rear behind and fixes it for their players.
