    Now that everybody knows how the mechanics work. They should learn to take advantage of it and adopt and adapt to the way it is now.

    It will allow you to free up more space on the island to build better things. Then you guys can also join the bandwagon and complain to BB about the Nerf. So they don't bother changing it.

    You guys have been screaming about how you're running out of island space and how you want to have another island. Well this wood cutter mechanic allows you to have a lot of space now. So use it! Learn it! Take advantage of it. And join the campaign in getting BB to stop messing with the woodcutter behaviors.

    This mechanic BENEFITS you! So use it. The only reason to use the 3:2 is if you like the trees all over the island as decoration.

    STOP BB from wasting their time on the tree huggers!

    This is the *key* problem. ^^
    They need the cutters to recognize that the deposit is already occupied and go to another rather than waste time there and get nothing.

    Even though the change is reverted (for now), it shows that BB don't like the behavior.
    If you weren't already using the method they tried to close now isn't the time to begin by ripping most of your foresters. You have to assume they still intend on doing *something*

    The only way to make this new approach workable is to enlarge the tree deposits to about 100-200 per and even up both foresters and cutters work cycle. I am not sure how much coding would that take, but granted BB gave up on the idea it must be a chore and a possibility of messing up other things. Not to mention a redesign of your island and building many more foresters which alone would be an obstacle, that lots of lev 50ies couldn't just do without both more BL and more space avail.

    Keeping it as it is works. In my guild only 3 people take advantage of the old mechanics. Rest just don't like their islands looking "shaved". I think this is the case for most of players. Wouldn't be surprised if only about 5% or less players would be doing it anyway.

    Good call BB. First time over last 10 years of my mmo experience I can say sanity of the devs prevailed. It is a huge complement btw Thanks also to all who helped alert the devs about the issues.

    Ratio is above 1:1 and below 3:2 that one should run due to woodcutter suffering more from walk time (1:30 base production v. 2:15 for forester). Closer to a 9 forester - 7 woodcutter ratio. yes - 2 foresters synched on a 5 deposit is pointless - but 2 foresters unsynched on a 5 deposit = happier woodcutter. also a fair number of 20-45 deposits.
    More of the same "new" content with a different bow? I will give more of the "same" towards my gem accumulation.

    In all honesty, this does need to be fixed. However the way to fix it, is by creating 1:1 ratio with woodcuters & foresters for planting & cutting. As well as not setting a limit on the depos. I personally would prefer to see it that all deposits are taken out and when the forester plants all of a sudden a "deposit" appears on the map and you can no longer build there. I know this won't happen, but I can always hope.

    As well as the woodcutters would need to be able to recognize if other cutters are going there. If one is already on their way there, then they need to choose another spot. Same with the foresters espiecally if their not going increase the "max" of the deposit. But that's my two cents, for now it is diverted but it won't be forever diverted. Expect this change to happen. I know my ratio is a little out of wack but that was because I didn't figure out the "bug" that was there until now. Am I going exploit it further? No, because I know BB will change it at some point to try to correct this "bug". That what games do. They fix known bugs. If you don't like that idea, I recommend getting out of the gaming world.

    If your referring to woodcutter:forester ratio. That would be correct it would be better. But we know when TSO corrects this bug, they will not allow that ratio. It will be more like 2:3 or worse.

    I'm being realistic. I've known something was right, didn't realize it was a glitch until today. This is a game, expect bugs to be fixed. Originally they planed on a 2:3 ratio with cutter to forester ratio.
