    Troop creation not completing properly

Note: I posted this in the main tech issues thread, to which someone suggested I file a bug report. Not sure if this is the place to do that, but I am copying/pasting the original post from the other thread here. If this is wrong, I apologize for the double post-- I only started this game 2 days ago and am still figuring all this out.

    Troop creation not working properly
I've been having an issue regarding creating new troops that began yesterday and has not corrected, despite clearing my cache, Flash cache, logging out and back in, restarting my pc, etc. - so I don't think it's on my end.

    Here's the problem:

I put in an order for 25 troops (doesn't matter which kind, as so far it's happened with both recruit and militia orders). I then put in a 2nd and perhaps a 3rd order for the same kind (or different, as it's happened when I stuck bowmen in between too).

I wait for them to be created, and when the little box appears in the upper left telling me they are done, I go to my general and add them to his group.

Now, leave the general's building and go do something else. Come back a few minutes later and suddenly, he doesn't have that last 25 troops any more. Go to the barracks and it says they are still being created - even though the pop up said they were done.

This has happened numerous times. It even happens when there are no subsequent orders queued up (ie: I get the message saying the last order is complete, I assign them to my general, then when I go back, they are no longer with the general and the barracks says they're still in process.)

I do currently have a buff on the barracks to speed up production, but I only added that about an hour ago. This problem began yesterday when there was no buff on the barracks at all, and adding the buff has not resolved it at all either.

I do, eventually, get all the troops, but it seems to take longer than it should. More importantly, I actually lost more troops than I should have when I went after a bandit camp thinking I had 150 recruits when I only had 125 - costing me additional losses in the battle because that difference took me from 20% or less losses to the 20-50% range.

Any ideas on why this is happening?

    Background:
I'm playing on an HP Pavillion P7 (AMD quad core A10-5700 processor) with 8G RAM, using high-speed cable connection and Google Chrome (fully updated) browser. Flash is updated automatically by Google Chrome, and I have all other necessary updates (Java, graphics card, etc.). As I said, I tried clearing out my cache, as well as the flash cache. I also tried logging out and completely exiting my browser, restarting my pc, and then logging back in again. None of that has fixed the problem so far.

    sounds like micro-rollbacks

Thanks, and yes, I guess that would explain it. Any idea why they happen? Is it my computer, or the server, or some communication glitch between the two perhaps? Is there a fix for it?

there were a number of people complaining that they were experiencing micro-rollbacks. I don't know that there was a specific solution.
support will tell you to clear your browser and flash casches, but I wouldn't get my hopes up that it will not help.
it is more likely to be the server or some connection issue.
you should file a support ticket anyway.

You would be right about that... as I mentioned in my first post, I tried both of those, as well as completely exiting, closing my browser, and restarting my pc, and I made sure all drivers and processes (browser, Flash, Java, etc.) were up to date. None of that fixed the problem.

However, it does seem to be working okay today. I haven't done anything differently... just logged out when I went to bed Sun night (well, Mon AM actually, lol), and logged back in when I got up Monday morning. So it is most likely it was something on the server end.

    Thanks!!

Running other flash based games or programs at the same time (even facebook) could adversely affect TSO performance.

My barracks will not create troops, it just keeps trying to load and doesn't. Help, in the middle of an adventure.
