    I tried putting on the 3 day buff it didn't complete the quest.... and didn't get the 1 day buff

    I'm curious how you determined this. It was the first question I had, and yours is the only post I've seen about it.
    in my case, i started my adventure before the 1 day prem was avail. then i got the mail with the 1 day prem,
    so applied the 1 day prem. finished the adv, and got the 50% bonus for loot and xp. the loot email was explicit
    with a second row of items for the 50% bonus.
