    New to guilds, I admit

I've been looking at the forums and most guilds seem nice to newbie's. I'm not exactly a newbie (sp?) but not ever in a guild. This will seem like a really idiot question but if I'm having fun with the game, and playing every day, what is the upside to joining? I certainly can see the helping of the newer players, but I would say I'm intermediate and maybe not the best advice giver. I mean I have questions myself??

Guild Quest for guild coins (prob most minor thing with guilds, [ELY] atleast). Easy to find buff swappers or droppers, lootspots swaps or sale, help ppl with resources either for free or discounted compared to current market value, trading tips, adventure tips as well as island set up tips. I think being in a good guild is one of the most important things in this game.

I guess the 'good guild' part is what I'm wondering about. I don't consider myself a refined player, and there are quite a few guilds that seem pretty decent. Been playing for awhile and very happy to help out newbies, but I still have questions. Lootspots swaps?? No idea what that is.

Some adventures give the ability for more then 1 player to be in the adv at the same time. You can invite other players to help you run the adventure or you can sell or swap the lootspots. Say i am running a Nords and i want to swap the lootspot, i would look for someone who is also running a nords and we woudl exchange the lootspots, i would invite him to my adv and he invite me to his, send usually a 3r or a few cav to hit a single camp. Each person would then finish their own adv and you will recieve loot from both advs

There are many good guilds in the game. You might want to use the guild tab to look at the different guilds which might give you some idea of their nature.
If something can go wrong, it will.

Most guild have a thorough description of themselves under the "guild description" part of their page which you can find be going onto the guild lists and selecting any guild you are interested in. I will say watch out for inactive guilds who don't have any active members in them. It's usually best to ask a guild leader about their guild by sending them a message in-game and asking more than one at a time is advisable so you can choose which seem to be the most compatible with your play-style.
