What is the point of this game?

I've been here for about a year now, level 42 so not a hard core player, but really, all I do is infuse wheat and water most days. I do understand that buffs/r/us, double whatever you need. And I do buff, at least 100 times a day, times 6 hours, but to what end?

The quests I can do are few and far between at this level, although I could do much higher quests, the game throttle prohibits me from doing what I could. Really, level 47 for a quest I could do at 40???

Not that this isn't a good, even great browser game, and I've enjoyed it, I just see no future beyond where I am.

Good gaming to every one. I hope you enjoy that wonderful game.

Perhaps if you joined a good guild you would have a diferent outlook.
If something can go wrong, it will.

Well, i agree that this game is missing content (Hint: PvP) however... you are asking for content only available for for higher levels.

Now, you said that you saw several quests that you could do at the level your at, i suggest you make another thread listing them.

Are you thinking that the social aspects of the guild make up for whatever the game lacks? Or the guild membership enriches the game itself somehow?

Yeah, I'm pretty much at the same point. My problem is that I've gotten frustrated with the speed and purchased gems. Wasted too much money on them in fact, and that's on me, not Ubisoft. I think the game would be more enjoyable to me - and I'll admit I may not be their target audience - if things went faster. It has become painful to do an adventure. 15 minutes to travel there(yeah, bought the faster general), 5 minutes to watch the general crawl across the island, another 5 for a fight that I just watch, then travel back, read the report. It just takes a lot of time to do anything and there's no interaction during that time.

I get what the point is. Ubisoft needs to pay its people, and I certainly don't begrudge them that. One way they make money is off of my impatience. Gems speed things up, it takes money to get a lot of gems, Ubisoft pays its programmers. But even after spending a ton of money, things still seem slow.

The guild and player interaction doesn't do anything for me. I'm just not friendly.

RTS games like the Age Of series are all about the fighting and now they are all multiplayer. Anything out there that's combines the economy building of something like Settlers, but where I choose the time of the battle and actually get to participate in it? You can build an economy in an RTS, but it isn't really the point and eventually the enemies will attack you on their terms.

On a related note, if I stop playing, is there a good way to just get rid of gems and resources? Someone might as well enjoy them.

For the resources, just sell them off at an unbelievable deal (say all of resource X for 1 fish).
