I have been lucky enough to have 3 Golems spawn on my island. I see that the pumpkin reward increases with each Golem killed, but I would like to know if there is a "payoff" reward after the last Golem? Is there a set number of Golems that we need to kill to satisfy an overall quest, or just kill as many as we can for the reward given from that particular Golem? I have looked for an answer to this question in the forum but I haven't been able to find one. Thank you.
I don't think there's a limit to the number of golems that can spawn.
After the first golem which is required for participation into the world goal, the point of defeating more golems is to just get more pumpkins which you can use to buy the special items.
The cost to kill a golem increases with each golem killed.
If something can go wrong, it will.

The cost to kill makes a big jump after like the 3rd one. The reward only jumps by 10 pumpkins. It's really not worth doing.
I can sell the materials for more pumpkins than I get by killing the golem.

This is crazy! Resources (marble, wheat & water) have doubled, making it almost 3 times as expensive to kill the lvl 5 Golem than the reward of 50 pumpkins is worth! Resources are running about 1200 gc in T.O. and 50 pumpkins are bringing ~420 gc.
Anyone still trying to kill the Golem may be interested in some waterfront property I have in Florida...
So? I have killed 2 and am just enjoying seeing the 3rd one standing there. Like a lot of things, if they are not worth it to me to do them, I don't.
