Actually, it does have an effect on gameplay: you can have a military that's larger than your actual population.
i've had the same issuewhenever i replace wells with watermills i get 2 workers back for each well sent in a ticket and support says it's a known issue and they are working on it
I think I have heard that song before.
If something can go wrong, it will.
