    Adventure Searches: In remembrance

    Adventure Searches are now dead. Worthless. Archaic wasters of time and coin. The ability to produce mass map fragments for a pittance has led to their demise. Scouts invested in them are now doing a poor job doing treasure hunts. Sausage chains are looking at downsizing (the need for an expanded sausage market is another story). It is simply no longer worth the coin to launch a scout.

    A few exceptions still to be found on plummeting adventure prices exist. Nords, Tropical Sun, Lost Skull. All of them cannot be bought from the star menu. So why can't the scouts be revamped? Why can't they find only adventures that cannot be bought using map fragments? Might need another new adventure or two, but given the slap shod way many adventures have been designed, shouldn't be too tough of a task.

    I leave you with , a man of a dieing breed, cursed to walk the haunted islands without any slow nords to shoot.

    Point - think through your updates, and make sure you didn't just wipe out more content with an update then you introduced.
    More of the same "new" content with a different bow? I will give more of the "same" towards my gem accumulation.

    all the new content from this event is crazy. the boxes have killed doing DB also. so whats next? endless marble, stone, iron, coal, and gold? lets put the geos out of bussiness too!!! lol

    I really think the ratio for the mapfrags is all wrong from the new production house.. At first its loads of fun... but the end result is map frags being worth maybe .75 gc?

    But at least those get consumed, the FM and WT abundance is the real problem. End game content just became cheap.. super cheap

    We now need a rare adventure that is drops something even better than WT and FM only findable with searches. Add in SE2 and BN2 as only loot from searches and I guess its a start

    all the new stuff is ruining the game.... look at the FM crash.. nords2 isn't worth doing anymore.. with the cheap frags and premium people can just buy SA's and get to 50 too fast, all the game is going to have soon is mostly lv 50s who are sooner or later going to get bored and quit...

    thats the way the game has been since the begining. the game is coming out with new stuff but i don't think at the pace some would like. at what point do you say "i won"?

    Well... i don't necessarily agree here... Making Nords 2 obsolete 3 months (or whatever it was) after release can't possibly be intentional...

    Exactly what Wujcio said.
    I don't think they tested the changes they implemented very well.. and I don't think alot of thought was put into what MA would do to the late game economy

    The developers have never been good at balance and simply introduce content based around arbitrary ratios designed upon launch of the game.

    An example of lack of foresight: production ratios of buildings. 2 hunters per butcher, sounds fine right? Nope, because they never took walk time into account when designing production ratios.
    More of the same "new" content with a different bow? I will give more of the "same" towards my gem accumulation.

    Fuscus put this idea in my head- They released MAs to close the distance between the 'rich' and 'poor'- pop wise atleast. could they be getting ready to release 'pvp' soon?- one could only hope since i have nothing to do besides HOARD things for no apparent reason.
