Plenty of casual players that due to Real Life, cannot dedicate enough time to do many adventures most of the time, so they don't even try.
But they do enjoy other aspects of the game, which is why they are still around.

Nobody ever said these exp rewards have to be HUGE, but something is better than nothing.

I've been playing over 7 months, and am Lv 47, 167k exp from Lv 48, and upgrading Barracks to Lv 5.. This game is good, but takes a lot of time to gain levels. Something to help people along would be nice, is what I am saying.

adding to my example 4, have new repeat quests get added onto the list as you get new levels (like as you get to a level to do/make something new, have a quest for it).

+1 - agreed - some days i dont have time or motivation to run an adv If i do no adv in a week - i've made zero progress - thats just really demotivating.

Another useful way to help with xp is to reward some when you hit lvl 5 on a building. Have the xp tied to the building tier.

I like the fact that leveling is slow. I can run 3 or 4 adv a week and make a level or so but once I hit 50 there is not much I can do as of yet.

agree 100%, the combat system in this game is terrible and not fun in the least, I was horrified when I realized you needed to do adventures to lvl up after a certain point.....when need economic adventures or some other alternative

Um. I've been in this game for over 2+ yrs. I don't know if I'm the slowest levelr or not, I have one friend that has been around longer then me that is lower level then me. I've seen friends come and go due to the leveling system. I'm telling you now. If you don't like how the leveling system works, or you don't have time to do adventures. There's other methods of what you can do.

    For ex.

Perfect Island Build to your satisfaction
Upgrading Buildings (Do you know how long it takes to get buildings to lvl 5 if you earn all the resources yourself without gems? Really I'm serious)
Aquire everything yourself by running the adv

Yes you may not have time to run adventures always. But I've taken long breaks from adv up to 6 months before I touched another one. Then I go in spurts where I run like 12 per week without purchasing loot spots. If you have the motivation you can knock out adventures. If not, work something else on the game.

Btw I'm lvl 48, and I have no intention of hitting lvl 50 until a few years down the lines. What's the rush to 50? Nothing. Just another number. I'm a casual Settlers Gamer. If there was ways more ways to hit the next lvl other then adventures I would have quit by now. Being at the top is just boring.

And yes I've rushed to the top in other games, and I hear all the lvl 50s complain in this game. My point should have been proven with their complaints with what to do at lvl 50.
    I am [IW] Ezequel Sarkar

I am currently in Immortal Warriors.
    I currently ranked Unsullied.

Playing since October 2011 in Zeus Server.

The only advantage to gaining lvl is the ability to do some adventures that u cant do until 42 (or atleast start yourself). unlock new troop type and buy some items offered by star coins. So what would be the point of gaining lvl through other means when all lvling would get you is to be able to do more adventures/do more adventures efficiently/or get star coins for pretty much buying more adventures? I'm not knocking your ideas for alternate way of lvling down or anything just dont see the point in lvling when the game is simple designed to help you "adventure better/more with lvl"...Not like everything u can do at 50 you can't do at 25...minus what i said...

Well, you can't even do adventures until Level 26.. But that's not the point.

Also, with more levels comes more buildings, not just adventures. And it isn't always about going from lv 40-50 faster, for some, it may be getting to a certain building faster, to help them be more effective.

On top of that, it is has psychological effect on some people. For some, seeing another 100xp or 150xp every day, makes them feel like they are making progress as they build up settlers and troops for the next adventure.

Sometimes changes to a game isn't about what YOU want, but what would be best for everyone.
And if getting another 100xp or so from your daily quest is going to make you quit the game, than there are a lot of other things about this game you don't like.. It isn't 1 thing that makes someone quit a game (other than boredom), it is several little things. Maybe think about what those other little things are, and stop showing everyone how young and immature you truly are?

26, 36, 46 it's just a number dont take it out of context because you know what i meant.

Please enlighten me on what "more buildings" you get with lvl that are not geared for you to making a certain troop type....used in what ohh yeah adventuring.

Figure the last portion of your post wasn't geared towards me so i'll leave it alone.

Everyone plays this game differently. I know many that don't like adventuring or the adventure system so sure i welcome any change to allow an alternate means of lvl'ing. It was just my opinion that all lvling does it push you to do more adventures, more efficient adventures, or get stuff to help you do adventures. Thats the way i see it, u dont have to agree with it and can argue your point that lvl's somehow do more for you than what mentioned, thats great and you're entitled to your opinion as others are to their own.

make bigger buildings, like exo sawmills, buy logs and convert to planks. Sell planks for profit compared to logs. Keep doing it. Making weapons, brew etc to sell ..

Than buy Deco or whatever it is you want to do, *says in a girlish voice* make your island look PRETTY! ..

*clears throat and continues speaking normally* Maybe in time, they will have things to do in the game, other than rebuild your island and do adventures. Many people want and hope for a PvP system. I am sure if there was a pvp system, being higher level would be better.

You just never know what will happen in the future. If you find the game too easy, try something in the game to make it more challenging. A guildie made a bet (and won), she got to lv 50 without clearing Sector 9 of her island. Maybe see if you can survive with only having 4 or 5 out of 9 sectors cleared and get Level 50.

Again, it isn't always about what 1 or 2 people want, but the masses.. I just hope BB doesn't go TOO far like Blizzard did with World of Warcraft. They catered to the carebears and made it so any child tool could do most anything in the game.. They even added a dueling system for non-combat pets AKA Pokemon .. *screams a blood curdling cry*
