gifted item stuck in mail box

one player gifted me an item from the merchant (event cathegory) for which I did not meet the lvl requirement; he was able to send me the gift, but I was not able to accept it - now it is stuck in my mailbox till I reach that lvl.
wth - this is absolutely not necessary - either make a warning message that the recipient won't be able to accept it, or disable the gifting for such conditions rightaway; or finally make it possible for the recipient to DECLINE a gift, so that it would be sent to the gifter's mailbox instead; but this is complete bs;

pls change and fix this - pls remove this item out of my mailbox to somewhere were anyone could make use of it - an item of worth over 400 coins just sitting around doing nothing;

This suggestion has been forwarded before, it's just silly there is no warning to gifters that their gift will be unusable for x amount of time. Since most things can be traded it would be a simple thing to buy the gift and trade it to your friend or to choose something else to gift that can be used now. Kinda the whole point of gifting really.
