Previous events have had a 2 step phase out where they would stop giving items like pumpkins or Easter Eggs the first week but you could still use them in the store. Then the next week the store would be closed. Now I have a bunch of Presents that I was waiting to see how many I finally had to plan my purchases and maybe buy a few more off the TO but now they are stuck until next year? That is a major change and a major screw up.
Agreed, I'm left with a few presents that I was going to use up once the adventure finished!
I never saw an in-game end date for the xmas event.
You can trade your presents for gold coins in the P House. One coin per present. Such a deal I have never seen.

They did the same thing with halloween, it was announced in the xmas dev diaries that it will end on jan 8th. it would have said 2 dates if it were 2 phases but it didnt. i was expecting this, not sure where u all were.
or jan 9th, w.e it was, only one date tho...
There was no First or Second Phase because of the Christmas Surprise.
The Event First phase lasts for 3 weeks (21 days) and then the Second phase lasts for 1 Week (7) so a total of 4 Weeks (1 month)
But because we had the Christmas Surprise it lasts 24 Days. So they decided not to do the 1st/2nd Phases.
Yea, I wish I knew when it was going to end. I was going to purchase $100 worth of gems today when I got paid but now that the 20% sale is over, I won't be doing that. If I knew the sale was going to be ending today, I would have just put it on my credit card and paid it off when I got my check. I've only been playing for about a week so I didn't know the bonus 20% wasn't all the time. Oh well...
you can send in a ticket and ask them to honor the 20% sale given the circumstances, BBs MAY***** give u the sale to buy gems. - i have heard of ppl doing this and getting the sale.
