    storage leak?

    just sent a ticket - here what happened:

    a few units went missing after direct trades:
    my entire gold chain was turned off, in sleep mode - no production, nothing being used;
    got two trades: 100 gold bars and 500 gold ore; in storage was 1 goldbar and 0 gold-ore;
    after accepting the traded items, my storage showed 99 goldbars (instead of 101) and 496 gold ore (instead of 500).
    Reload did not change things.

    now this does not seem like much, but if this would occur on regular basis, this would become very annoying; did anyone experience something similar?

    Sounds to me as if you put your goldchain to sleep _just_ about before the trades, in that case the goldchain (guess we are talking smelter and coinage) will complete it's current cycle (though not deliver it), however already load up resources for the next cycle.

    Just do a/some round trades with a friend and watch the numbers...either have goldchain asleep for a while already (30min+ should do) or have it run and make sure to take note how far into the cycle it is (so you don't get a reload when doing your trades).

    the smelters were asleep for days before the trade... - but the number would fit, so here it would make sense that the smelters loaded for their next cycle;
    input for coinage is 4 bars, so here the numbers would not add up - unless the coinage takes the result of the smelters for granted, and preloads only the difference it would need to enter its next cycle (in this case 2bars);

    lol;

    well that is weird logic;

    Yea not quite sure how that works out with their math and so forth, but as things stand now, I think it is _just_ that and nothing else aka a leak of some sorts.

    The only and last time I heard just that (with a titan ore/smelter) was pretty much the same case, there wasn't enough material pre trade and after trade there was a few units missing despite buildings being shut off for a while already.
