You kind of did hijack this thread but because I kept answering your posts that probably didn't help matters any.

Yes I do know you, very well actually. I'm always lurking global so I can know who everyone is. Which is why I'm pretty confused at why you seem to be intent on damaging the CL program and discrediting the people chosen before the darn thing even takes off. Don't you think something like this would have the potential to really benefit players? I really do see it, I'm not sure why you don't. You're fixated on this idea of us telling on everyone about bugs. That's not even our main responsibility. It's more of a side thing like a neighborhood watch. We can't even ban people.

I don't know. I just really hope you turn around and make good use of this program. Like I said, I know who you are and I've seen you help out many times, so I'm convinced you'd be beneficial to this thread. Especially since you like to stick out your neck and say things others might be too timid to say. Maybe with a little time you'll come to trust me and we'll start over fresh.

ahhhhh this darn bug abuse thing is getting out of hand lol

All I did was give a suggestion of things people could talk to me about. No one has to tell me about bugs and I don't have to investigate until I find bugs. That's not even the purpose of the CL program. The purpose is the community. So if a bug is damaging the community, then yes, I would want to report that. But if something is called a "bug" and it's really more like a tactic and it benefits the community then I'll be trying to work hard at convincing BB that it will be great to allow it in game.

When you think about this program, think you, you, you. What would be good for YOU in game. How could YOU benefit. If you have an idea on how things would be so much better for you when playing then, BINGO, you have something that could be relayed to a community leader.

And while we hear about what the community want we also watch chats to make sure no one is being harassed or trolling etc. That's just done to make sure everyone can enjoy the game.... well other than the trolls and harassers I guess.

PS: I'm probably going to trip up and say things that might rub people the wrong way in the future. I'm only human and I don't expect everyone to be in love with me too. But I'm always going to try to be fair to everyone.

Well. For one, The BB's picked the Community Leaders... But it should of been the Community to choice on who the Community Leaders Should be or do a poll and the BB's can randomly pick like 10 people or whatever well the Community vote on who the Community Leader(s) should be. I know it's still a new program and stuff. But if the BB's can't communicate with the players... then how will we be able to communicate back with them.

If there is no communication with BB's and Players then the game won't be as good as it should be. I don't mind on who they picked but like no offence here.. just seems like they had a meeting and randomly put players in a hat and draw 4 random people. The Idea can be good on a piece of paper, but how will the idea be good on the game or effect other players.

After reading these posts and looking at what's been said in global, I'm convinced that the next CLs to be chosen should be chosen by the community. I would also go as far as saying that the present CLs, myself included, should not automatically stay as CLs but would also need to have enough votes to stay in the program.

We just have to figure out a good way to know who the candidates are. Not just one person saying I nominate so and so. You have to actually know why this person should be nominated at least.

First, you guys will have to bare with us, the CLs that have been initially chosen. It had to start somewhere, but at least it's started. Eventually once the dust settles and the program is accepted by the majority of people, there will be a need for more community leaders.

There are a number of posts in the forum already expressing what players would like to see added or changed in the game. Not one reply made by any BB Mod. How will adding CLs change this? As far as trolls harassing players goes, we already can 'report' players for this. Seems like government adding useless and unwarranted programs.

If BB is serious about improving the game they need to wake the hell up, for godsake get real adding huge buildings like epic workyards what are you thinking US level 50's who run a balanced island and have spent a lot of time building it up HAVE NO DAM SPACE

Work on getting us more space before adding rubbish like this to the game

CL program was just silly when it was Smitey and Shuttle (who never ever played by the time she was given CL) but now it is passed comical! There is no way favoritism cannot be part of the equation when BB is picking players and giving them a "leadership" advantage over others. If we players chose the CL's, that would be one thing, but to have them nominated with ZERO input from any of us is asinine. I play a level 50 account on Ares as well but of course, my main account is on Zeus running ELYSIUM. I see the same dedicated players in ARES G1 and HELP daily and now that server has brand new CLs imported from ZEUS to "lead" them....? WOW! If I was a primary Ares player, I would be more ticked off than many of the ZEUS players posting here clearly are... A huge part of a community based game like this is player management. BB - take some constructive feedback. This program needs to be re-looked and revamped before more players feel ostracized through arbitrary BB decisions... LONG LIVE ELY!

Ok I have now met 2 of the 3 CL's on our server and they are nice people dont get me wrong BUT we should choose our own CL's 100%. You really need someone well known to said community to be the leader of it and do whats right for your community. Again this is not a personal attack on the CL's its letting UBI know this was a colossal fail and also the way they sprang it on us was totally out of line. I also have posts copied of some telling zeus players to friend them in ares...how is this not a favoritism? I guess i am confused as to how these were picked in the first place.
