    I can't wait to get my hands on these. I think I'll need 3 per 8 farms, but I can figure the exact details out later.

    With currently 8 silos per 8 farms, that's 16 slots, will only need 11 slots for same production with 3 of these 3x silos. Use the five slots for 3 farms, another 3x silo and a regular silo and you're up 3 level 5 farms inthe same footprint. Or you have 5 spots to use for other stuff...

    Except they aren't 3x better. They cut the production time from 12 to 4 mins but now there is 3x the walk time. So it can't really handle 3 farms unless the farms are quite a bit further away. They need to make it 3 wheat per cycle (per lvl) and keep the production time the same. As it stands now you can't simply replace 3 silos with 1 new one if you want to keep things balanced. It's more like 1.1 new silos per farm.

    I honestly can't get my head around why anyone wouldn't be thrilled with the new silo, since depending on licenses it will allow those that want to put in the effort to increase wheat production drastically. Space is so limited things like the Friary & ISH and now the new silo are great!
    But I have just brought the newest model! I just brought 20 currently existing silos which in my book makes them new for me. So that’s 750 x 20 = 15000 gems. They produce 1 grain every 12 minutes so that’s 20 grain every 12 minutes. If I was to buy the imp silos though at their current test server price of 1995 gems I could buy 7 of them with gems spare. They produce 1 grain every 4 minutes so if I spent the same amount of gems for the imp silo as I did for the original silo’s I would have 7 silos which produce grain every 4 minutes. Going by the 12 minute standard of the original silo then, the end result would mean in 12 minutes I would get 21 grain as there are 3 4’s in 12 so 3x7=21. Not to mention 1035 gems going spare!

    So not only will my brand new silos be obsolete potentially within 1 development cycle of me buying them but the imp silos are cheaper and produce more than the original, not to mention save 3 times the space in the process!

    I’m not saying I ain’t happy with them, they are a nice item. I’m just not happy about how BB have implemented them and just take my money the first time then bring out something exactly the same as what I just brought for less and that’s more efficient for a full price again. It should be an upgrade to the silo we have and it should be a lot cheaper then 1995 gems! This way time is not a factor. If I buy an original silo 2 years or 2 days ago it retains its value because everyone, old and new has to then additionally upgrade it again if they wish to, to the improved version. Whereas how they are currently doing it favors new players over the long term loyal ones. They won’t buy the old ones and can save space, gems and get better production all for not having played the game for long enough to have brought the original silos yet. This in my book makes it unfair. And don’t think I’m trying to say long term players should therefore be reward for their loyalty either. I’m after balance for both new players and old ones. I’m not after being rewarded for being a long time player what I want is not to be penalized for it!

    I spent coin the first time to buy silos, i will spend coin the second time. Thanks to test server I know about this in advance and can plan for the impending large-sum expenditure. At least on Zeus, there is such high demand for silos, old time 50s will price newer players out of the gem market, and sell them out old silos (probably for double to triple what we originally paid for them).

    I say progress here is positive. My biggest complaint is this is NOT a clean 3 for 1 swap. The walk time fiasco is a big pain that a fair number of players (some developers included) DON'T understand and irks every perfectionist who does.

    Oh, and have fun spending 20-30k coin per Improved Silo. I could be wrong, I could be low balling it. Its a game, you would quit the game if things didn't go obsolete to freshen it up a bit.
    More of the same "new" content with a different bow? I will give more of the "same" towards my gem accumulation.

    I don't mind BB pushing sales, adding stuff and influencing us with goodies to buy gems. They need gem sales I get it. Just don't make me feel like a sucker by implementing things that way. I have been playing mmos for 14 years now I walked away from few games already that made me feel like this. I am sure I am not the only one feeling just being used. There is a better way to make peps happy and satisfied and keep the gem sales flowing.

    I honestly think I am done spending money on this game. Once I hit 50 will just optimize my island, have some fun with friends and not care what shiny new goodies BB will introduce. If I got the coins to get them from TO - so be it. But, I will not give money to devs who make me feel like a cash cow to be milked. No thanks.

    I haven't bought gems in about a year. I still have half of what I last bought. I am waiting for something worth spending them on.
    If something can go wrong, it will.

    Only thing I spend my gems on is the gem pits because then I get double the investment. Otherwise I get the gc I need. Also remember improved silos are 3x better, but you have to include walking distance and how much space they take up. I'll see how that goes on my island but I think I'm going be sticking to the original silos because an imp silo takes up more space then 1 silo.

    1 Improved Silos take same space as 1 Silo.
