Isn't the whole idea of a guild so that multiple people can play together in their own chat? At least, that's what I use guild chat for :P I understand that we make friends outside of guild, but there are so many channels that can be used for three person advs, etc. My global tends to be quiet, but from time to time, a group of 3 comes in and works out attack stuff...not really a big deal. Its an adventure and there's no pvp, so don't see why talking in an open global during the adventure is a problem?
Also, the find friend feature is to "find friends". Don't mean to sound rude, cause I don't mean it all that way, but if you have people on your friend's list that are stalking you, perhaps they shouldn't be on your friend's list in the first place. Pretty easy and painless to remove someone and add them to ignore.
Think sometimes we forget that Global-1 is just that...Global-1. That mean's its an open forum for anyone and everyone to ask whatever questions their hearts desire or speak on whatever topic they want so long as it abides by TSO guidelines. If people don't like it, then they don't have to hang out in Global-1.
There are some extremely easy fixes to so many of the complaints I am seeing in this thread. Don't friend people you truly don't want to be friends with (or defriend them if they become people you don't want to be friends with) and use the ignore feature that's so handily provided. This is a game that is open to kids as well, so its quite obvious that global-1 is going to be full of them at certain times. Perhaps we should remember that and like has been stated so many times already, let "ignore" be your friend if it so needs to be. Not everyone is going to get along with everyone all the time, but we can do our part in not adding to the issues and use some common sense in who we allow on our friend's list and what global channels we function in.
Also, so someone answers a help question in global, big deal. Its an open forum. I have seen people rudely direct people to help before or trade or other places, and let's face it, there's no need for that. At the same time, think we all get ourselves way into an uproar about things that don't need to be sometimes. Let's move on from the drama and just enjoy ourselves and play the game already ^_^
