So, we have a Calendar now ...

Many of you have probably seen the Calendar link on the forum toolbar. Some may have clicked it and seen only a vast sea of lonely dates stretching for months and months on end. A few may have wondered "Hm. What is the purpose of this Calendar? Why don't we utilize this really awesome feature of vBulletin?"

I've pondered this, too. And so did Zeffin, who also pertinently pointed out in a previous post: "I would really rather have gotten some information about this event a week before it (BB Q&A) was to occur ... With enough notice I could've change my schedule and be there for it."

Hmm. Good point. I'm guessing a lot of you have felt the same way. We try to consistently deliver information and updates to you on maintenances, events and contests in a timely manner, but the problem is that they all live in different places. If you don't happen to have 20+ minutes to visit every single thread in the forums, you might just miss something. So, we're going to be using the Calendar.

For those of you looking for it, it can be found here:

If you click on it, you will see that some dates and events have been filled out already. We'll try to keep it filled with pertinent information as much as possible.

    Enjoy.

There was some user permissoin issues with the Calendar function, causing events to not show for most users. These have been resolved.

G_F_M, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1.Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2.If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Blarg! Are you trying to access it or add an event? Users don't have the ability to add events.
