    Sotv for the big kids

Put on your big boy pants or hike up your skirt. This Guide is not for the feint of heart.

    Maximum troops needed: 1241R 237M 258S 312E 535C 102XB 159K

    Maximum troops lost: 1241R 237M 220C

You will need at least 2 Veteran generals and 4 normal generals to solo this adventure using this guide. Ideally you should have 4 fast generals and 4 normal generals and then 1 more of either type if you want to run it straight through with no delays for recovery times.

I have numbered the camps in the same way they are done in the Killste guide. This should help if you are referring back and forth and also in communicating effectively with a potential loot spot buyer.

For the loot spot I would recommend inviting them just after you clear G6. Have them send 1C with a fast general and send their attack against camp 6 (green).

The block on camp 2 is risky at best. It will fail about one time in ten if sent perfectly. With even one second of lag or delay this climbs to over five in ten times.

Camp A (Option) 75R 30E 80K to kill or 80E 8C sent against camp 2 to block (risky)
    Camp B (Block) 1S 3E 194C sent against camp 4
Camp C (Block) 57E sent against camp 7
    Camp D ( Vet ) 78M 170E 2K or 78M 172S sent against camp 5
    Camp E ( Vet ) 55M 1E 117C 77K or 53M 1S 137C 59 XB sent against camp 3
    Camp F (Block) 1R 1S 1E 196C

Send F first and when the general disappears into the camp then send A, C, and E .... wait 5 seconds then send B and D

Only Camps A, C, and D are used here but camp B is necessary to align the attack paths.

*Camp C is a sacrifice wave but is not time sensitive so any general may be used. Bear in mind though that you will need 4 normal generals very soon so unless you have 5 of them you may wish to use a BH or a Veteran although you will also need 2 Vets in the coming blocks so again unless you have three you may want to just use a BH.

    Camp A: Normal 85R 115S sent against camp 9
Camp B: Any General ( Idle)
Camp C: Any General 60C sent against camp 12
    Camp D: Veteran 109R 1E 73C 67XB sent against camp 12

    A: (Block) 1R 1S 9E 189C sent against camp 16
    B: (Block) 72E sent against camp 11
    C: Recovering General
    D: (Block) 78E 21C sent against camp 13
    E: ( Vet ) 90R 1E 159 K or 113R 137S sent against camp 16
    F: ( Vet ) 52R 94C 1E 101XB 1K or 52R 2E 94C 102XB sent against camp 14

Send B, D, and F wait for 5 seconds and then send A and E

Kill camp 24 first by sending your veteran loaded with 60R 1E 164C 25XB

Camp A: (Block) 71E sent against camp 25
    Camp B: (Block) 17S 183C sent against camp 26
    Camp C: (Block) 4S 52E 138C sent against camp 27
Camp D: (BH orVet) 50C ( sacrifice) sent against camp 28
    Camp E: (Veteran) 49M 105C 96K or 115R 2S 1E 55C 77XB sent against camp 28

Send A and B wait til B hits the fence ( see insert) then send C, D, and E

    Kill camp 14 with 52R 2E 94C 102XB
    Kill camp 17 with 113R 137S

    Camp A: (Block) 37S 99E sent against camp 19
    Camp B: (Block) 37S 99E sent against camp 20
    Camp C: (Block) 55S 142C sent against camp 22
Camp D: (Block) 128S sent against camp 21
Camp E: (BH or Vet) 50C sent against camp 23 (sacrifice)
    Camp F: (Veteran) 119R 1S 1E 50C 79XB sent against camp 23

Send the generals in numeric order but add a 2 second delay after sending B, C, and D

I lettered the placement pics incorrectly A and B are switched. I will put that on my list of things to fix.

Camp A: (Block) 161C sent against camp 16 (will be intercepted by camp 15)
Camp B: (Sacrifice) 60C sent against camp 11
    Camp C: (Veteran) 102R 82C 2E 64K or 109R 1E 73C 67XB sent against camp 11

Send A and when he gets to the little bush ( see insert) send B and C

    Camp A: (Veteran) 89R 1E 102C 58XB sent against camp 8

    Camp A: (Veteran) 145R 105S sent against camp 4

    Camp A: (Block) 83E 2R sent against camp 7
    Camp B: (Veteran) 55M 195S or 87R 163S sent against camp 2

Send A wait 2 seconds and send B

Confirmed Value on "big boy pants" SotV

    CONGRATULATIONS

Ran it today - with the Major. Save between 225-250 recruits over traditional runs with EvilJ and or Killste with the major.

Where Lucas's blocks are "new" his configurations held up - although in shared areas with Killste - they were either identical or Killste's preferable.

The other distinct advantage is the high risk of NO ONE RECRUIT tavern gen blocks - with the TWO DYNAMIC COMBINED LEADEER BLOCKS

In Sector One the timing is very tight - Make certain to send the MAJOR to the northern leader and a Vet to the southern.

In the Diagonal South to North Combined Block I again sent the MAJOR north and the Vet south. the timing was very comfortable - not anywhere near as scary as sector 1. NEXT TIME I might switch the Major and the Vet on this one for more extended time- but I don't think it necessry.

DO NOT OVERLOOK the TIMING on the final attack. SAfer for a LONG TWO SECONDS than a short two

WELL DONE! THANK YOU SO MUCH.

    LOOT SPOT P.S.

As Lucas said, you really don't want anyone around until you have cleared G6. If the LS lands in the south - have em tag YELLOW 24 - or better yet - Kill it for ya!

So I am obviously pretty pumped by this guide! I have always loved SotV because it offers unlimited options - and depending upon the skills and tactics of your partner is perhaps one of the few maps that can provide an entirely different experience whenever you play it!

Knowing I am in the minority - here are some strict comparisons and evaluations (all numbers my own based on runs with a Major General):

EvilJ: 1614 recruit loss - 2 one recruit Tavern General blocks
Sammy's Lost Legion Blend of EvilJ and Killste: 1501 recruit loss - 3 one recruit Tavern General blocks (contact me directly if interested)
Killste: 1333 recruit loss - SIX (6) one recruit Tavern General blocks !!!!!

LucasColbert: 1183 recruit loss - ZERO one recruit Tavern General Blocks and TWO Simultaneous TWO LEADER BLOCKS! (we have to invent a name for this!)

Cav losses are of course a constant 220 in each. For lovers of SotV THIS IS A BIG DEAL! Thank you! (again!)
