I would pay 15k beans if the woodyard would take just 1 regular building space. To me, even the 1 gold tower I built is barely worth taking space, but the woodyard is just a headache placing.

its great for coal if you can find a place to put it. I have yet to find such a place, so i have yet to buy it. besides sector 1, not sure i can fit it nicely

there is a difference between it fitting well and fitting, but costing me 8 building spots.

Mine fits well and upgraded its not that horrible. One slot out of 3 can take hwl into hwp at the same rate as 4 1/2 lvl 5 hwp sawmills, so not sure what all the fuss is about. That's just one slot out of 3. Which means that my one workyard could replace 13 1/2 hwp sawmills...if I had that many...and takes up 6 spaces. (That means I get something that is equivalent to let's say 13 buildings for the space of 6...even if its only 12 for 8, you are still ahead.) So you have to take time to figure out whether it works for you or not and whether long term it will pay out, isn't that what this game is all about? I get the space issue, and am not downgrading that it's an issue, but I am level 50 and have been for months now and had no problem finding space for placing 2 of these lovely workyards, and I will be able to get rid of some things eventually once I decide how I truly want to use them...whether it be for foresters, planks or coal. Just my two cents on the matter...heck they might even only be worth less than a penny ;-)

I cant imagine most people make that many hwp at all. It looks like the use of this building is if you ahve alot of cokers. It is not great at planting trees because you still need more space near it for cutters. Perhaps ewp it might be useful for.
