Are you checking before sending the attack (any attacks) to see if that camp is red and will be intercepting? If so, then something changed and the guide would no longer be valid.

This is the camp in question that's causing issues, I will be running the adventure and see if I can screenshot when it happens

Yeah, There is a somewhat of a glitch when your general is attacking it, the camp still aggros the general when you want to sneak by it and attack the camp and leader camp below that camp.

i've been doing a few sa's, but i have never had this problem. if i do get it, i will put in an update though

Once, I even recalled the general that was intercepted and relaunched the attack (easily done since the blocks are so long) and the general was intercepted again despite that the offending camp was long-engaged in a battle.

I reported this bug to support back in December/January and was told that they would not do anything because "blocking is not a supported feature of the game". I guess zone of control and intercept rules are not supported features of the game either.
This bug has everything to do with blocking and not the zone control and intercept rules. You entered the area of control and were forced to attack that camp, thus the zone is working. Blocking exploits the fact the zone vanishes after an attack starts.

The problem is though. The Zone doesn't vanish sometimes and it can still suck-up your general when its already being attacked.

I did this adventure 3x since yesterday and the problem did not reoccur at the moment, maybe because I'm actively watching and clicking on the camp, or a previous maintenance fixed it. I'll keep running the adventure and advise if it happens again.
