No. If you were banned it would give you a message like "You have been banned!"
You just need to refresh and try again. if it doesn't work. send a support ticket.
er yea i can't send in support ticket, it errors when attempting to use the form. Forums is all i can actually use.
then private message a bb darkwolf maybe they can find a solution.
I'm in the same boat. I've been refreshing (regular and cache clearing) for about 3 hours.
I can log in and play just fine, but I am getting the same problem (with three different browsers) when I try and purchase gems
If you are still having trouble logging into the game, the following things should fix the issue:
1: Make sure you are using the currently available version of your web browser, as an older version may no longer be supported for the game.
2: Make sure you are using the most recent version of Adobe Flash. http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html
3: Before logging into the game clear your cookie and cache files from the web browser you are using.

5: Try using another one of the supported web browsers for the game: Fire Fox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome.
Please be aware that having multiple Flash applications at once will cause lag, server crashes, and flash crashes. Please try to limit the number of Flash based web applications you have running while trying to play the game to have the best experience. Such applications include YouTube, Pandora, and other Flash based games.
Still can't log in. "A general error has occurred. Please refresh the page and try again." Click login, little worker guy does his animation for 15-20 seconds, dialog box pops up "A general error has occurred. Please refresh the page and try again." Was working just fine last night up until maintenance. I tried on two different computers as well. Followed the above steps, and still can't log on. OS X 10.9.2, Firefox( up to date ), Flash is up to date, etc.

sounds like the BBs need to work thier magic. i had the same thing last week and even tried the chicken feathers and smacking my monitor, BBs had to use thier magic wands
