Unable to Login: "Server Zone Crashed"

    Good Evening,

During your time in The Settlers Online, you may run into a "Server Zone Crashed" error or what is more commonly referred to as a "locked zone." We understand your frustration and apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. Server Zone crashes are implemented into the system to prevent corrupted data, data loss, and are our fail-safe mechanism to make sure that when something goes wrong, it doesn't take out your town with it. When this occurs you will see an error like this on your screen:

This error is generated by an automatic system that constantly monitoring the server for issues. When an issue is found, the server crashes to prevent loss. If you experience this issue, don't worry! Most server crashes will be automatically resolved in the server and will become playable again after a few hours.

Here are some steps to help fix this when it occurs:
    • Attempt to remove it by clearing your cache and cookies for your browser and for your flash player. (HOW-TO Clear your Cache)
    • Try using a different web browser, supported web browsers are; Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer.

However, some cases are more extreme and require more assistance to resolve. If you experience a server crash and it has not fixed itself within 24 hours of it occurring, please Contact Support. Please provide a report with detailed information, including details of what you were doing before it occurred so that we can help trace the causes.

As always, if you have any further issues or questions please do not hesitate to Contact Support.

Some possible ways to prevent this from occurring:
    • While moving buildings, take it slow. (Give 15-30 second breaks between building moves)
    • Aviod using mouse recorders or automated mouse clicking systems, as they cause errors with the game and can cause your data to be corrupted on your account.
