    Thoughts on quests!

I am a new player and am progressing rather nicely. After reviewing some of the content surrounding quests, there are some things left to be desired. For instance, I thought it would be interesting to build an interface through which you can complete external offers (ppc ad space or something similar) to receive timed invites to co-operative adventures upon completion. These adventures would be more difficult than others due to army limits and variety of enemy camps. These limitations would normally allow for extra time, but the time allowed would be around three days at the most. Rewards would include items one might find in the gem shop or even quantities of gems up to one thousand. This sort of questing, I believe, would engender a greater co-operative atmosphere to the community.

Another thought I had involved a race-like challenge that you would invite a friend or que up an offering for a race through a split island. The goal would be to beat the opponent through an identical stretch of land, separated by mountains, and defeat the boss camp before them. Both participants will receive rewards, however the winner receives a unique prize not available in the store. These rewards should be something you could use up or lose through battle, like units. Specialized units with more hit points, damage, and special abilities in VERY small quantities (to increase value) and allow elite players to participate in even more difficult questing.

I'd wpp bomb that if needed.
More of the same "new" content with a different bow? I will give more of the "same" towards my gem accumulation.

The point I was getting at is that the "co-op" adventures fall too short on many aspects, including rewards. Moreover, these are generic, non-exclusive quests. Some sense of exclusivity and fear of loss does draw a crowd better than "You can try these! If you find them. Good luck!"

Please do not assume I am simply thinking what the developers are thinking. I am only asking if they have considered a stronger reward system for harder adventures/quests. The other point, made so well by a commenter on the very page you reference, is that finding adventure buddies is harder than it should be. Perhaps the draw is so miniscule they forget to care? Perhaps the solution is designing a waiting que for these harder adventures. Maybe, even, *gasp* making the rewards something you can't get anywhere else?!
