I noticed after last Maintenance that when I move my quarter master general he now only takes the space of a regular general. was this intentional? i don't recall reading anything on this.

That's a good thing right. :-)
Edit: You're right. I just went and tested that out. It's a good thing actually. Usually I don't bother moving him around the island because he takes so much space. And the only time you can take advantage of him space wise is let him be the first to return to the island so he lands where ever.
Undocumented Patch changes. Wasn't posted anywhere about it. Not in patch notes or game notes when you start up. Nor on test server ever.

Well I have been surprised with him, He never goes to star anyway like other generals, He lands in section 2 if all section is full. Even if no room for him exists. I was surprised I could move him for a change
