    Something for Level 50s

Something I would like to see is some sort of usefull Building such as Highest Population Building, Fancy Baker, Mill, Swordsmith what ever. That can only be found from an adventure that CAN'T be traded, or bought. I dont know about many of you but I need for nothing. Don't need more granite, coin, planks ect that I cant make for myself. I don't need to upgrade anything. I need something to work for that I can't just trade resources for. i want something I have to do for myself. Even some sort of Co- op Thats for 50s only that can drop a special building. Heck i would settle on floaters as drops.

What do other level 50 people think

I believe the bone church is tradeable right? Iam happy the Bone church has a Pop now for sure. But not as good Pop per space as a witch tower so not much point in working towards it. Not That I wont get just one but I kinda miss doing DB at a chance for the best Pop Building drop. I enjoyed Nords 2 as well for frozen manors but these can both be traded and its easier for me to trade for them then do the adventures

Novelty is fleeting. I'm only level 39 and I have already experienced times of pointless monotony in tso.

Many of the ideas for extending play options for higher levels primarily suggest a "more of the same" policy.

The philosophy of less is more might hold true in support of your limited idea. Issuing rare, unique and limited quantity items would create a greater sense of novelty.

Some of my extended play ideas for level 50's:

    1. Battlefield Maps
    2. Modular expansion units that attach to the Mayor's house
    3. A series of rare collectibles
    4. The ability to build a navy
    5. A Legend Quest the search for the lost Empire

    Details

The battlefield maps (#1) could be expandable and new pieces could be added as they are discovered. The maps could be used as various types of guides for adventures or to automatically select the military units needed to attack an enemy camp. A map fragment of each camp to be attacked would be needed and your generals would have to have enough military units otherwise a generic error message would post an insufficient units message. With 1 click to activate the map function a player's generals would automatically and sequentially attack all the camps that are mapped or until all the attacking units have been exhausted. The maps could also be used to attack hidden camps and find rare collectibles.

Modular expansion units for the Mayors house (#2) These would be an add-on, upgradeable, some would attach vertically like a tower and others would be on the horizontal like an atrium or sun room in which players could grow special herbs. The expansion units could house population or be equipped to function as specialty workhouses. Upgrading an addition would increase the capacity or production but the primary purpose of upgrading would be for aesthetics in building level matching.

Rare collectibles (#3) one of my favorite ideas because it can get really intricate and complicated. I'm thinking of tiered hunts employing visual interactive searches on home islands and select adventures, battles wherein an enemy boss holds a key collectible, production quest to build specialty items using the key collectible to temporarily unlock a production ability. Component collectibles: 12 collectibles in the 1st series in 3 sets of 4. A player can use a set of 4 to activate an assigned function or combine the 4 and use them in the 2nd series to unlock a special ability.

Ahoy! (#4) We have wood, workers, water and time. Even if it is just to pass the time, a ship yard and building a navy would be a lot of fun, even if you couldn't use it yet. A sailing ship could use 1 water building placement. A few workhouses to make the ships and supporting equipment. (see modular) A second Barracks to make naval units... not belly buttons that's navel. I digress. How long is a settler day? Building ships takes months sometimes years if it has cannon. This is about providing entertainment and not so much about it actually working atm. Give it time.

(#5) a Quest that utilizes the rare collectibles, requires some cooperation and collectible key sharing for each player to be able to unlock the next step. A race that offers several limited and rare items for most players and a few completely unique one of a kind items for the very few players who can advance in the search for the lost empire and it's treasures. Each new chapter would reset the search and all 50's could try again to get a one of kind item from the 2nd chapter. Each new chapter could include rarity resource adventures as a reward for players who want a second chance at getting the collectibles from the previous chapter. The lost empire may never be found, at least not all at once.

As a player who has been here since beta I have few thoughts. First a fine list of things to make the game interesting again. Thank you for your time and efforts.

I have long advocated the addition of islands to explore giving better access to E Wood, granite etc Also the islands can be used for PvP.

I do not think we need more buildings. We need a goal. Some where to go after lvl 50. Becoming better at building mines, mills, smelters etc has no interest to me. New places to find and explore that would interest me and keep me playing.

But, there is a problem. It is my opinion that the game is no longer growing and that sales of gems have dropped way off. This makes it very hard for the owners of the game to justify the expense of expansion. Adding some new higher powered buildings is not very costly and may keep players around to purchase gems. No way can a major, expensive, expansion be justified.

This of course is only my opinion. I do recall back during beta the coversation with BB on PvP. Nothing to my knowledge has ever been done. I call upon BB to give us new content.
If something can go wrong, it will.
