I ran "The Dark Brotherhood" without using crossbows or cannoneers. I got credit for all of the others, but not for the last quest. I used 2 MMAs.
I also ran "The Witch of the Swamp" without using soldiers. I got credit for all of the others, but not for the last quest. I used MMAs as well.
On the other hand, I ran the Secluded Experiment using 2 MMAs as well and I got credit for all quests. The SE quest does not have any "don't use" clauses.

I did The Lost Skull using MMA, 191E, 99R, 55M: all achievements cleared except the "without using" one ... so I take it that any achievements that says "without using ..." means that you can't you a MMA general as well?Originally Posted by Moonlime

No, what others use doesn't matter. I ran a SA using militia and tagger only killed 2 rec and received credit for not killing any militia on the SA adv. quest. The same on SotV, 2 players shared the adventure. Quest says 'losing less than 1300 rec'. Combined we lost more than 1300 rec. and the quest completed. On BK, if you buy/swap a ls, you get credit for completing w/out using xbow and cannon, even though the runner used them. Nords, VtV, ML, RB, and DB are the same if you buy/swap ls, but DON'T use MMA general to tag.
Not sure. It could be. I used the MMAs on Outlaws and Secluded Experiments and everything completed. My lootspotters tagged with their MMAs. The glitch appears to be with the "do not use" quests. Blue Byte needs to investigate.

Having a little trouble with the achievements system. (1) I just completed Island of the Pirates using only recruits, but it has not registered. (2) The book system has not registered a bunch of achievements. For example, Skills > Specializations > Surplus is not registering that I have invested more than 3 books in the copper surplus and the gold mining surplus. On the other hand, my guild mates and I are enjoying the new challenges - thanks!

Not all achievement adventures will have issues with the MMA leading me to believe that the problem is with the quest itself. Perhaps some of the quests coding did not account for the new MMA general. Easy to do when you are overloaded and not paying attention to detail. That needs to be fixed for sure..

Aside from the fact that I don't know whether I'm receiving awards and just simply assume I am, half the time I have no idea what achievements I have just completed either. I'll see my achievement points just randomly go up and not know why.
The rewards are sent to your storehouse right after you complete an achievement. There's a quick pop up to say that. The pop-up is quick and easy to miss/ignore.
