It appears that I got a lot of points for adding books to the skill tree. I was letting them build up. Completed the sons of the veld, no points. I'm at sotv for the second time, will see if anything changes.

I like the idea of achievements, but the execution has left a great deal to be desired. I put in a ticket because I had the Red Mountains quest sitting at 5/3 deposits to complete it, but it still did not complete. I have yet to get a reply from support, it has been 2 days. Here is a nice screenshot of the derp.
I also have a nice one of me comparing my Achievement points against a friends.
As you can see, I have more achievements completed than he does but he somehow has more points. Hmmm.... mine says 8/10 completed and his says 8/11, but there are only 10 showing and I have 8 and he has 7. I am showing 490 points vs. 510 for him, must be that new math.. lol.
I like the system, but I hope they fix it soon.
P.S. I would like to have an MMA bout against the Dev that came up with the upgrade process for the Epic Woodyard. Thank you for helping me pointlessly waste soooo many high level resources. If I could trade that thing in for all the stuff I have spent on it thus far, I would. /sigh... grumble grumble

It is tough to get anything from support on the weekend. I have the same achievement bugs and support told me several days ago they are aware of the problem and are workimg on it. And if you believe this, I have a nice bridge in NYC for sale really cheap.
If something can go wrong, it will.

sigh...no feedback from Devs. BB_Rawren - maybe this week will be "this week"? I am holding adventures until I can use my MMA and get any/all achievements...

I want to use My MMA Generals, but missing out on the achievements due to this bug is more than a little annoying.
Maybe just change the wording on how it is listed and say no mma. Then at least people who have done it have really earned the points.
