Chat server and Friends status issues

For 2 days my guild and I assume others on Ares haven't had reliable chat server or been able to see the status of friends (if they are online or not).

Is this issues being investigated? What is the ETA for an expected fix for these issues? Why isn't there some regular updates on this issue.

With Settlers being so dependent on the social aspect I would think this would be top on the priority list and that we'd get some regular status.

The CLs have been reporting it (almost constantly) to BB since Thursday. I'm sure they're working on it, but I haven't received a status on the ticket I submitted or any information about what the cause is. Hopefully one of the BBs will post here and give us some insight into what they're doing to try to fix this.

I hope that BBs update that thread regularly. I know at my job we'd be giving our users regular updates if our system was down for this long.

Quite distressing that it took days to get the first BB_ post on it.

The chat server has been restarted and the issue has been resolved. Please let us know if you continue to experience chat disconnects.
