Easter Whining

The problem with this event is simple. There is a lot of great stuff. Demand went through the roof, but the issue of supply to address that demand was largely ignored. So everything is so expensive that it's not even worth bothering. I think I'll have 50k gold by the end of the event, but I'm not sure that's going to be enough to get MMA. And watermills? Ha. Might as well remove them from the event because they're a ripoff at these prices. I'm hoping pricing will get better toward the end of the event, but the trend downward is painfully slow at best.

MMA should have been put into a summer event. Doesn't need to be a holiday. Some sort of start of summer celebration could still be fun. That way we could have another event without waiting 6 months, and it would not have resulted in Easter being overkilled.

Nice idea, Gwalben - a summer celebration event would be appreciated. Special events are kinda nifty! I like the addition of the egg hunt buffs this year, but I really wish that the buff on the mayor's house ended when all the eggs were found. 12 hrs is a long time to wait when you want to use your own buffs on your mayor's house.

People expect way too much for eggs, that it's ridiculous, I mean, if I had an unlimited amount of eggs, and people were offering things that I have been offering I would take it.

Because even though these resources are easy to obtain (in certain cases), it takes a VERY long time to accumulate.

I bet you if you had the right resources (explorers, and the such), you could EASILY get tens of thousands of eggs if you had up to three months to gather these resources, through various means. So why the eggs cost so much, is just eating at me, because it took me more than a few months to accumulate what I have, and I'm spending it all on a much lower value of "eggs" And for some things, I may have to wait nearly half a year or a year, to get back what I accumulated, that people could be at least a little grateful for what I'm giving them, especially if the resources are extremely useful (things I would definitely get if I had the eggs).

So either it's hard to get eggs, and the low number of eggs is justifying WHY it's so hard to sell resources for eggs, or people are just trying to squeeze everything they can out of people just because they have that power.

For example, in any ordinary situation one egg can be converted into one gold coin in the provision house. I for one would think people would be grateful 6-10 times as much, but when the event started, people were likely making 40 times the usual amount. 40 gold coins for 1 egg, talk about people having power.

This is why I won't be getting either general, I mean I really want the Master of Martial Arts, and I willing to pay ALL the resources I have for one, but people want too much, that there is no combination of what resources I have that will total 2395, especially since most of the eggs I've gotten so far, 475 went to my experienced explorer, people just want way too much for eggs, that there is just NO way I can ever get a Martial of Master Arts this Easter, I want one badly since I'm stuck with regular generals and the Master of Martial Arts would be very beneficial to me.

But when the event is over, it's going to be near impossible to even get one. I already have to wait about 10 weeks before I can even get ONE Savage Scout. At about 7000 gems, I'd have to wait 70 weeks, and there's NO way I can wait that long, with my gems piling, I'd be too tempted to buy Savage Scouts or even building licenses.

So, unfortunately looks like this year I'm stuck with with my experienced explorer as my Easter event specialist.

Maybe if my explorers would bring me more eggs, I'd have a better chance and if people weren't so greedy.

In the last few days I've completed a lot of Dark Priests adventures with my wife And I am totally disappointed of eggs drop rate from them, most of the time we get nothing or 12 eggs.. I still continue doing Dark Priests, because I want to level up, and for my level are the only adventures accessible to complete, what i can do.

I am also disgusted how peoples with zillions of explorers and 10 gem pits control this game Trade Office prices and whole economy of the game.

The game with this event started to be more like a stress that fun, started to become more like a daytime job.

I was in the game for less than two months during Christmas, and I managed to get everything without too much trouble. It was awesome because it completely jumpstarted my economy.

Unfortunately, Easter is completely bloody inaccessible for people at lower levels. I'm at level 40 with a single gem pit (that I'm letting sit until I can afford more pits, rather than spending them), three (now four) explorers, and I'm pretty satisfied with how much gold I'm producing. If I were any lower than that, I'm not sure how much play I could really get out of this event.

I'm sure I'll be happy with what I get when it's all said and done, but the egg pricing is a huge barrier to entry. Today I saw it down to 25:1, though, so it's slowly crawling.

Recently I have completed 2 BKs and a Witch. No eggs at all. Are eggs random and this is just my bad luck? Or is something wrong?

normal adventures the egg drop is random. the eggs that they were refering to were from the egg hunts some ppl never got the 9 from the search itself just the 1 for the quest
