Hidden Egg Hunt Buff Bug

Hi guys,

So here is what I was able to find out.

There are a few ways the Hidden Egg Hunt can not work properly:
1. The buff doesn't work due to lag. In this case, wait 10-15 minutes and sometimes it will show up.
2. The buff works but the quest does not complete - over half of these seem to be due to buffing a guildmate that is not on your friends list.
3. The buff just doesn't take. In this case, currently the only solution is to write in Support and they will reimburse.
4. Last one: The last collectible does not register for the quest. In this case, I can quote from a recent news:

"Occasionally, those pesky Rabbids will steal eggs from your adventures. Just in case you didn't receive an eggs reward after adventure completion, an in-game mail will be sent approximately 10 minutes afterward. Missing eggs of previously-solved adventures will be sent with Easter Removal phase 1."

Well since 1, 2 and 4 don't apply in my case, does my friend who buffed me get his wasted buff back? I've written a ticket to support and I don't really feel like having to write another one just for him to be reimbursed. Dragonbane79 is my friends name.

Your friend will need to submit a ticket themselves in order to get reimbursed.

use a fairy fire to find the eggs, then you'll know for sure if the quest isnt active, imo. ive experienced, many times, that no quest comes up but the eggs are still there and if u find them all you both still get the egg bonus

I find all my regular collectibles twice daily without trouble, even the difficult to spot ones. After 10 minutes of searching my island, trust me when I say I couldn't find 1 hidden egg from the buff. Even when the buff spawns eggs there is always 1 or 2 obvious eggs.

The fact that the quest didn't show up in the adventure log shows it was a bug. Even after running through all the known fixes/work-arounds suggested by players, CLs and BB mods.
