CL_Aurboth: I see you have done your own programming at an early age; Did you do a lot of assembly? Assuming the response is yes, did you teach yourself, or did you have a mentor of some sort?
PS - Did you do any programming on the Intellivision?

Sorry to say this, as I am sure it will give a lot of negative feedback, but the tagging thing was a programming error that should have been fixed and the game is still paying for it. It gives resources for no effort, created an area where there are issues because of unsupportable trading, and created a situation where players use many times the amount of resources on a single adventure than was anticipated, for less reward. It should not be that complex of a system - if you kill 3x as many people, you should get 3x the loot. Patching up the broken concept has just led to more problems, but there is too much inertia to stop it without upsetting people.
I was programming early on, but also have a degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering, with a minor in mathematics. My early programming was self taught, and in BASIC, but had a lot of education after that. At one point, I was able to program in about 6 different languages, although was probably best at C.
