Achievements and books

Not sure where to post this, so I put it under the general discussion, but there some problems with the achievement system. For now I would just note that it says I have produced 0 codexes, this despite the fact that I already have fully skilled up geologists and scouts. I can understand that BB does not have full audit records of everything that was done and does not reflect this on the achievement system, but not correctly showing how many codexes were produced this is going to be punishing for those that have already hit the 5 manuscripts 3 tomes per codex cost. I can understand how they might not able to calculate manuscripts produced because some could have come from adventures, but for those like me that have already produced more than 20 now have to produce 20 more, that will take nearly a year to produce with the max costs.

Looks like they only started counting stats since last week or so when they implemented the tease but not the button...looking at a couple things, like manuscripts etc, would add up to just about that timeframe.
At least there is no reward attached to it so we actually might care.

great so i'm going to have to do all these things agian? and i have all depos that are on the island working and i'm still missing one. if only the "lucky find" would work and i caould find anothher depo. awesome job devs this is just what the game needed more broke junk.

I think that is the most frustrating part is the missing deposit. I realize it probably is the hidden one but that seems kind of crappy. Seems if it is required here that it is not special for people who upgraded to find it.

There are two possible 'extra' deposits that can be discovered with explorers using skills from books. Are they perhaps counting them in the discover all deposits achievement? ( I haven't counted so, I don't actually know .. just a thought )

Iirc there is a total of 54 stone/marble/iron/coal/gold deposits to be had, so that achievement wants GFM to ragequit now hehe

Ok i am not complaining but i think things need to be clearer.

For instance. On Witch of the Swamp section it says that you can not use soldiers. However if you dont use soldiers and you do use an mma it does not count. In reality what it means is that all kills have to be done with only recruits, bowmen, militia, cavalry, longbow, crossbow, elites, cannon and regular gens. Soldiers and MMA gen is not on that list.

Similarly on Island of the Pirates when you are supposed to only use recruits using an mma will not let you finish that section as well.

In a way saying no soldiers what they mean is use recruits, bowmen, militia, cavalry, longbow, crossbow, elites, cannon and if anything else gets a kill it doesnt count. That is different to me than using a mma gen and no soldiers.
