Just finished Old Friends, using no cav and no ranging units. I only received the 2 time achievements.
So, this sucks big time. I used an MMA as this appears to be acceptable per the list of advs mentioned earlier.
Maybe this is not the case. Also, do you have to use one or some of all other troops to please the devs that you have completed all achievements?
From what I understand the MMA sometimes counts as cav. Key word: sometimes.
If something can go wrong, it will.
you need to follow what the quest says; keeping in mind that the mma acts like an army of cavs....sometimes.
Still around from time to time.
on the red mountain quest, the three copper mines need to be found by a regular geo, then you can hit them with a depo, if they have any edicated halo on the copper mine then the quest fails.
Yea, I'll go ahead and confirm that MMA for Old Friends breaks the cav requirement at the least. I tried also doing the melee only achievement at the same time and that didn't work either. Maybe MMA gen counts as ranged cavalry, maybe the other is just broken. Got the cav one no problem by not sending MMA tho.
