    Lightbulb Upgrades for generals?

Just like Explorers and Geologists, Generals should have an upgrade tree using books. If necessary for balance, you could make existing troops a little weaker, and then allow the generals to upgrade to (and beyond) their current strengths. This could apply to black market generals, too. The upgrades could be things like:
    • Faster travel and battle time
    • Extra hit points for some troop type
    • Additional damage for some troop type
    • Increased accuracy for some troop type
    • One troop type granted spalsh damage
    • One troop type granted faster strikes
    • Resistance to a particular type of enemy
    • More damage for the general
    • Faster recovery time for lost battles
    • Bigger transportation load (without increased battle load)
    • Reduced enemy accuracy
    • Increased spoils from battles
    • Chance to "sneak attack" (all troops granted first strike for first round only)

It would add some additional flair to existing battles and it would provide more opportunities for specialization and strategy.

As with many things regarding this game, it was promised over a year ago:

"The Science System will consist of 4 skill trees. 3 of them are for each type of specialist (explorers, geologists, generals). The fourth tree will be related to your home island. "

it would be more like general gains x amount attack,
    general becomes a cannonear,
general travels 5% faster to adventures,
general stealth training reduces enemies sight radius,
general rage-general gains 10 attack point for each man lost,
general siege general has a catapult too use for castles,
sabotage genral leaves a last strike obstetrical whenever he attacks
smoke general smoke enemy camps and slow down 20-50% of the enemy units 1 strike,

I like this idea & I dont like this idea. I am just about done with the manuscripts now. Not sure I want to see 10 manuscripts to make 1 tome & 5 tomes to make 1 codex. If anything, I would like to see 1:1 ratio regardless of how many you made, just increase the resources needed to make them, not 5 manuscripts for 1 tome
