Hi. I would like to suggest removing the limit on the number of gem pits a person can get. It seems to have been established that people have not stopped buying gems from the shop, so removing the limit on gem pits should not be a problem. Also, make them buffable; say, create a buff that a person could purchase from the gem shop and apply perhaps once per week that would last maybe 12 hours or so.

Well I disagree with you on that, I spent a total of 200 on gems and havent bought more, the limit at 5 was pretty good but after so many years old players probably wanted more and they bumped it to 10.
my guess is they will increase the limit by 5 one year after they last increased it. Im expecting it to be 15 in september, we shall see. i think that having them unlimited is too much... too many "free" gems for the devs to be making money.
Increase sounds good, but unlimited gem pits just means unlimited gems at no additional cost. Though there are people who would still use up more gems than they are making, I can't imagine it not causing a drop in sales.
Five a year works for me. Limiting it is particularly important if BB is still questing for the mythical PvP unicorn.
I always saw a gem pit as being a way for BB to sell gems on spec.
It is essentially you paying now and getting the bonus down the line.
That being said, it is probably mostly gem buyers with money to spend who get gem pits.
IMO, gem buyers are the backbone of the game and should be rewarded with access to gem pit buffs and unlimited purchases.
or put a limit on how many you can have at once be it on island or star. not just the 5 or 10 its now but only X at one time
well i have 2 or 3 left with about 2k in each, and no more available to buy. so unless i can buy more, bb wont be getting one more dime from me. its a lose-lose sitch for them...
They will never remove the gem pit limit
i hope they increase by 5 again, soon.
