open explorer, click box in upper right corner, select the skill u want, click green check mark.
the tree builds from bottom up.

I would suggest doing some research on the forums about the skill trees before spending too many books. I regret most of my early explorer upgrades. You'll find eventually that the production time of books is extremely slow, too slow for very much waste.

Thanks for the tips - still took me a bit to figure it out! Maybe they can make the "help" screens available for first time use vs telling us the "how" just once...

open explorer? Could possibly innumerate what you're trying to explain. I've went into the star menu and clicked on the explorer, but when the page opens it does not allow you to do anything with the menu other then look at available trees and books.
