Buff changes

Currently buff are major of 3 types.
Fish platters, Sandwiches, Irma's

if we buff them on ourselves we get 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and 4 hours respectively. Consecutively if a friend or a buffer buffs on us we receive 50% more time that is 25 minutes, 45 minutes and 6 hours respectively.

Now now now everyone will want to keep all their buildings buffed for 24 hours.

Unless your buffer is a rich punk who doesn't need to earn money at all but only needs to spend it he can visit your island and buff it 4 times a day.

What I propose is to have buff system changed a little bit.

We can select the time we want the buff to last.

For example:- If I make a buff in my PH, I select it to last for 24 hours, so at every fixed time a day I can visit my island and buff it myself.

Now obviously the devs are giving us something if they do so and it is our responsibility that we give them something in return.
I suggest that they take away the 50% time bonus awarded if a friend buffs the island buildings.

What do you guys say on this post?

Also as we select the time the inputs such as bread fish sausages be proportionally used up from our storehouses.

Perhaps your buffs run at the time you show. Mine run 30 min, 2 hrs & 6 Hrs. Add 50% if placed by a friend on my island.

Your point on the timing of buffs is still valid however.

making this change would invalidate many higher end buff items. and i like the fact that friend buffs last longer. encourages cooperation and interaction. system seems to work fine as it is. wimpy is correct on the times. a friend placed irma is 9 hrs, good enough to cover overnight or a work day.

there's a variety of other buffs available, at various time lengths, including 12 and 24 hour buffs. use 3x buffs of a longer length for epic bldgs and gold, and irmas for less critical stuff. there's no need to buff every single building 24/7. or if u must, 2 friends buffing w/irma at same time every day, + 1 irma self buff = 24 hours.

Removing the friend buff bonus isn't a smart idea, and creating different length buffs is the whole point of the fish/fish+bread/fish+bread+sausage system. It'd be pretty stupid for them to let us have 24h fish buffs.
I think everyone agrees that the 6/9h buff cycle is completely awkward to humans. If you buff when you wake up, its run out before you get home from work, and staying awake 18 hours a day really.. shouldn't be done on a regular basis. Definitely needs a fix, but whats mentioned won't work.

One change I'd suggest is that the self buff on premium time should last longer.

make a few mistakes in mentioning the times.. have insomania so was trying to sleep at the same time .. but the second post says the correct timing. The premium buffs (buying from gems or event buffs) are usually 3x or 4x buffs far valuable than normal 2x buffs.
Also the current buffs are fine, there should be a new buff which has the option of setting the time for which it should be effective.
