You just wrong on so many levels.
Plenty of real life cheating falls way below the level of breaking laws and involving law enforcement as to make your comparison utterly false.

What people are asking for is an illusion of safety and protection from the "Scammers". You cannot and will not ever create this Pollyanna community here.
You want to blame a few scammers for people leaving and not buying gems? That may be the rare case, but most leave over boredom and the highly expensive gem shop.

You know this does not work. It might make judgmental people feel smug and like better people than the so called scammers.
The thing is, the name and shame net starts catching players who charge too much or have connectivity issues that disrupt the game while in a loot spot.
Let's put the onus on players who insist on dealing with anybody rather than take basic precautionary steps. (As suggested by BB)

You are judging people as being greedy in a game where productivity and profit are an integral part of the game? Please. Do you expect people to try and minimize profit? Change like that would have to come from the top. take a look in the gem shop and see if you spot any greed. If you do, then know that the behavior of those in authority over us is behavior you will see emulated in the community.

As for loot spots. They are an important part of the game. Who wants to do 1 adventure where they are forced to trade spots to guild mates or whomever in the time they could have done 4 adventures? Especially while watching Premium time melt away.
Who wants to have to send troops to an adventure and take the time and resources to participate when the can just buy a fish for 1500g?

people who buy and sell lootspots are not bad greedy people as your post seems to characterize them.

I disagree. We're not talking about people being mean to each other or engaging in some boorish, socially inappropriate behavior. We're talking about people who intentionally steal something that has real monetary value from other players in the game.

Pixels that are worth money "dude", lol. Think of it as intellectual property, or....music for instance. Just because something is digitized, pixelated, or doesn't otherwise have a physical presence doesn't mean it isn't valuable.

An obvious solution is for the loot spot to be formally made part of the game. You sell an adventure invite in the trade office, once somebody has bought that in the trade office they automatically get added to your adventure. If you don't complete the adventure, the payment made in the trade office is returned automatically. Also the requirement to kill an enemy in some camp to get the loot should also be removed, one should simply get it for being part of the adventure.

Given the type of work around solutions BB has done before, It might not be possible to tie an invite to a trade.
More of the same "new" content with a different bow? I will give more of the "same" towards my gem accumulation.
