Excerpt from the Community Prediction League article on the main page:
"Thanks to our Settlers all over the world for the overwhelming participation!
With more than 40,000 users, this prediction league was the biggest one kicktipp ever had in its entire history. "
40k participants, now let's see how many rewards were given out. 25 days x 5 winners per day = 125 players rewarded + top 3 = 128 people. 128 people out of 40k participants. Only 128 people have gotten rewarded in any way for taking their time and participating in that league. I cannot understand the resoning behind such a small amount of pixel rewards given out to such a sizable player base.
Some may say that I shouldn't be complaining since they have given out free stuff, and you'd probably be right. I just can't stop feeling like I was used for some recordbreaking attempt.
My biggest complain is that based on the initial announcement made by BB, I never expected the awards to be shared among the whole worldwide playerbase. I was expecting it to be limited to the US based servers.
It is not about me not winning anything personally. I wouldn't be complaining if I knew at least one person I regularly see in the game getting some kind of reward out of it.
Just my 2 cents about the whole prediction league experience.
P.S. Now I do not know how many of those participants were settlers online players from all over the world, but I think it is safe to assume that at least a majority of them were.
