Multiple Artifact searches

My first explorer had been doing Artifact searches with great results. I would find wonderful buffs and several bags of rainbows a week. During the World Cup event, my 2nd explorer got skills to do Artifact searches also. I thought it'd great, two fast explorers doing Artifact searches; I was going to in the "buff money." However, that was not the case. As soon as I started sending both Explorers to do Artifact searches my results were horrible. Sandwiches and fish platters was all I found. After a month of this, I decided to go back to sending only one explorer and I'm back to getting great results again. Anyone else seen this pattern?

i have all my explorers on artifact searches (21 total explorers) i usually get 4-7 rainbows per day. this morning i received 7 rainbows 1 snack and 600 granite, yesterday i received a total of 7 snacks from the 2 cycles of searches. So it takes about 5 days for one explorer to find one rainbow buff.

I actually just posted in trade tab that i thought they increased the drop rates as of the explorer bonus thing that BB started, since i received 14 rainbows in less than 2 days and a guildie of mine received 9 rainbows yesterday....

I suppose they actually did increase the drop rates because of the bonus loot you can receive buffs now in a 2nd slot on regular explorers, and a 3rd buff slot for the luckys. I have found 3 rainbows in the extra slot since the bonus time started

a percentage chance is just that. even a 50/50 such as flipping a coin can result in 10 'tails' in a row...

I think the drop rate for rainbow buffs was increased. It's fantastic!

The drop rate for rainbow snow is right about 10%. Sometimes I get a lot close together, sometimes there's a dry spell and I wanna pull my hair out over freakin fish platters. But in tracking my results, it consistenlty works out to 10%, give or take a tenth % or so.
