Island going asleep.

Hello.

Maybe a BB can anwser the question.

The Info I have.
When an Island is left unattended (no log in), it goes asleep after 24 hours, i.e. the production STOPS. If a friend visits the Island IN this time AND buffs, the 24 hours start over again.
My info is based on the German wiki, quote:

This Question was asked in the chat, and as I answered, some other players had the info that the Island shuts down after 48 hours, others said 72 hours.
Even the BBs seemed uncertain.

I would like to put the question again.

If I leave my Island unattended, does it contuine to produce, or does it shut down at some stage...if so, after how many hours/days?

I'm fairly certain it will continue to produce until you run out of resources or storage room. It's easy enough to test out on the test server.

In 2011 a BB on another server's forum said it was 48 hrs. When I find the link again I will post it.

I took a break from the game when they introduced the bobbing heads over leader camps in adventures. Those red !'s bugged me so much, I just quit playing for a month.

When I logged on again, either there was a red bobbing ! over a building because resources ran out OR an item stopped producing because the storehouse was full. So in my experience, your island doesn't stop until it hits it's limits.

either 72 or 48hrs after the player stops logging in everything stops...unless you get a visit from a friend then it's 24 hrs
there will be no ZZZZ's over anything but it all stops

It would be nice if sources could be given. Its all very good writing 48 or 72 hours, but where do these numbers come from?

well since no Zzz's pop-up on island and if a friend visits it starts back up, i suggest you try it yourself and find out for us
