its only been in testing a VERY short time, and changes/adjustments are being made. there's also a closed beta test server where they're working on new combat features. it will be a while before we see any of these changes on live servers. months probably

It's in the initial phase still. All they've done so far is tinker with troops. They still need to modify the production chains, change the heroes, and figure out more appropriate rewards, and possibly even create some new adventures for lower level players.
If things don't get scrapped, it probably won't be until next year before the new combat goes official.

Oh... Well, if we can't do adventures, then how they expect us to play the game? Lol
The same half that made PvP, guild banks, and mountain removal.
