I have had two pumpkins spawn on my island. This is not what I expected from this years event. If all there is is fighting Golems and running adventures to get pumpkins then I am disappointed.

I'm getting tons of them on Zeus and one...ONCE...on Ares. I seriously doubt if its the same old "clear your cache" that is the answer to everything for all games.
I fully realize this is going to sound like great grandpa saying "When I was your age, we had to walk 10 miles to school in the snow, uphill both ways"; however.....
There was a time when all we had were the pumpkin fields (with no 4x buffs from the mayors house) and buying pumpkins for gems or off of trade. There was no trade office, all trades were done in a system based on mails and trades were only up for 10 minutes.
So you know what? It's a lot better now than it ever was. Thanks BB for all the improvements over the years.

Because, if it cost less to buy something, then not having the 3x and 4x buffs for the pumpkin fields would not matter and would probably make life easier not having to worry about buffing them

Also I have found very few pumpkins with my collectibles even though I have found them all, according to the quest tab. As to getting them from adventures. I do the adventures on the list and only get pumpkins some of the time.
The cost for Reaper general, village school, improved storehouse, etc has remained the same from year to year. The opportunities to get pumpkins has increased from year to year.
Lets hope that the Christmas event actually gives us presents because the halloween event is a bust. Received pumpkins in coll 4 times in 10 days getting them twice a day. Done 8 BK advents today and got 27 pumpkins twice in the 8 advents and the rest nothing.
this halloween even is a total &*^*%^%&! Barely any pumpkins growing on the island, to kill a golem u have to use resources not available on the island not to mention that chances to get higher number of pumpkins from adventures are very very slim ..... BB just proved me once again they are all about good old mighty $$$ and pushing gems to people that want everything from the store on the event tab. If christmas even is just as bad, lots of people will look elsewhere. Few of my friends I made here already moved to another game. Maybe I should grab rest of them from here and follow them....
Well it is a "For Profit" company and have payrolls, equiptment, and taxes to pay. So yes I'm sure that money is a big factor in how they set up events. But there are lots of pumpkins to be had in trade.

but it does seem that not very mant are spawning on home island...at least i don't get many
